Rogue CityFair Pub Debuts for 2012 Rose Festival

The Rogue CityFair Pub is debuting this year, bringing the rustic charm and casual atmosphere of the Rogue Brewery into the heart of Rose Festival CityFair. For all of the 'Rogue Nation' followers, the Pub will be Rogue-a-fied with Rogue's signature decor. Open for family-friendly dining until 7:00 p.m., patrons can also relax at happy hour and enjoy dinner with classic pub foods, fine micro brews of Rogue ales, lagers and cocktails made with Rogue Spirits. The Rogue CityFair Pub will serve adults only from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m. for the run of the Rose Festival CityFair (May 25 through June 10).

Rock 'n' Roll Portland Half Marathon Performers Announced

Portland is set to ROCK as the first Rock 'n' Roll Portland Half Marathon hits the streets on Sunday, May 20 -- with more than 20 bands adding rhythm to the beat of 14,000 runners racing through Portland. This inaugural race will treat participants to parts of Portland no previous race has explored, including the opportunity to cross the iconic Hawthorne Bridge as they head into East Portland to enjoy beautiful Portland locations like Laurelhurst Park, Lloyd Boulevard and the downtown waterfront.

This race both starts and finishes in downtown Portland at Tom McCall Waterfront Park. There the 'Finish Line Festival' will welcome both runners and spectators into the same footprint as Rose Festival's CityFair, where everyone can attend the Finish Line Headliner Concert, featuring performances by headliner Kevin Rudolf, plus Chris Rene and Hit Machine.

Music begins at 8:00 a.m. and continues until 12:30 p.m. with a performance located on each mile of the race route! To see the full list of performers, click the following link.

Rose Festival Cityfair Features Exciting New Rozone Concert Performers in 2012

The Portland Rose Festival has released the 2012 performance schedule for the RoZone OneMain Financial Stage, with national artists and local favorites that features a diverse selection of artists ranging from rock to country and much more.

Alpha Broadcasting -- in partnership with the Rose Festival -- highlights the three weekend RoZone Concert Series with national acts that include rising stars Alabama Shakes for the "101.9 KINK at the Waterfront" (on Sunday, May 27), "98.7 KUPL Countryfest," featuring Chris Cagle, (on Sunday, June 3) and "LIVE 95.5 Birthday Bash," with Andy Grammer (on Saturday, June 9). (NOTE: All three of these RoZone Concerts require separate ticket purchases.)

During the run of RoZone (for the price of CityFair admission), music fans can catch the best popular local artists from the Portland Indie scene, including The Thermals, Black Prairie, Y la Bamba and The Minus 5 (on Friday, June 1; Friday, June 8 and Sunday, June 10). Soul and funk favorites Curtis Salgado, Patrick Lamb and Linda Hornbuckle highlight the first weekend (Saturday, May 26), and there's a fun-filled Battle of the Cover Bands (starting at noon on Saturday, June 2).
