Dress Rehearsal for Parade Day!
May 2, 2008
Watch "Out & About" with Drew Carney on Tuesday morning, May 6, and see a 'dress rehearsal' for the biggest event day in the Northwest!
The Rose Festival Court, the Character Clown Corps, members of the Battle Ground High School marching band and a host of festival dignitaries and special guests will prepare for the big events inside Portland's historic Memorial Coliseum.
Rose Festival President Mark McGirr will join employees of Regence BlueCross BlueShield to limber up for the new Regence Grand Floral Walk, while the Rose Festival Court practices their waves for the KeyBank Grand Floral parade. Watch to see if Drew can learn the basics of playing in a parade band! Catch all the action from 5:00 - 7:00 a.m. on KGW NewsChannel 8.

How about the fact that for ten years now we've had the Best Environmental Program in the world of festivals and events?
