A Selection of Vintage Portland Homes, Landmarks & Gardens
In celebration of the Rose Festival's strong ties to Portland history, the festival selected a few of its favorite homes, landmarks and gardens in the Rose City. Tucked away in hidden corners of town are cherished bits of architectural interest and gardener delights that represent multiple Portland neighborhoods.
Each selection has its own tradition or historical significance involving the Rose Festival from rambling rose bushes to stately sculptured shrubs and trees to the painted panels of craftsman-style homes. This tour is one of eclectic selection offering a glimpse of early Portland life when the Rose Festival was young.
