Thanks to Spirit Mountain Casino and Fred Meyer, the 2008 Grand Floral Parade will be telecast in high definition for the first time in its history! "The Grand Floral Parade is a perfect event for this technology," said Rose Festival President and former parade chairman, Mark McGirr. "It's exciting to know the people at home will be able to see all the details of our fantastic parade."
For the many people who want to watch the parade in person from the comfort of their reserved seats at Portland's historic Memorial Coliseum, tickets for the 2008 event go on sale on Friday, November 23.
