The Court:
Sheila Holden from Pacific Power founded the Rose Festival Court Mentorship program in 2005, impacting the lives of scores of young women and mentors alike, many of whom remain in touch with one another today. Sheila is a leader who not only shaped the mentorship program, but has personally mentored many princesses over the years, as well.

CityFair:
Ron and Beverly Burback, owners of Funtastic Traveling Shows, are industry leaders in ride safety and cleanliness. Funtastic Shows is a local carnival company serving the greater Pacific Northwest, the official carnival of the Rose Festival. The Burbacks have supported the Rose Festival by providing their best display of fun rides and games every year. Additionally, they’ve generously provided space at their S.E. Portland facility to build the fantastic Grand Floral Parade floats.

Grand Floral Parade:
Vern Hulit and his daughter Stacey Flintjer represent a decades-long family commitment to the parade, both having served as the parade’s equestrian chair. Vern first rode in the Grand Floral Parade 60 years ago, in 1959. He later helped set the standard for parade presentation excellence, as well as safety and security for the horse and rider — a tradition carried on by his daughter, who started her Rose Festival volunteerism years back as a pooper scooper. Now Stacey is in her 19th year as equestrian chair!
