The Portland Rose Festival Foundation and Portland Nursery have partnered to present the Official Rose of the 2020 Festival: Princess Power — the newest addition to the Portland Rose Festival’s annual garden.

This Hybrid Tea has a well-formed medium sized flower that appears to be hand-painted pink, with a cream reverse. Featuring a mild fruity and tea fragrance, the flowers are supported by long, straight and upright sturdy stems, up to 5 feet tall, that tend to bloom on a 5-to-7 week cycle. The Hybrid Tea, the oldest group classified as a modern garden rose, prefers full sun. With excellent care it can live more than seven years.
