The Portland Rose Festival Foundation and Wells Fargo are pleased to present Rose Festival Honors focused on leadership in support of empowering women and encouraging mentorship.

Rose Festival Honors gives us the opportunity to shine a spotlight on - and truly honor - a deserving individual who exemplifies the empowerment of women and the impactful role of mentorship on personal and professional success.

Another goal of Rose Festival Honors is to raise the funding to enable Rose Festival to continue to give back to the community with events that support women of all ages, as well as the arts, volunteerism and education, all important values of the Portland Rose Festival Foundation.

In 2022, we are pleased to introduce a special award, the Emerging Leaders Award, to recognize outstanding service to the community through up-and-coming leadership.

2022 Honoree: The Honorable Barbara Roberts

Elected as the first female governor of Oregon in 1991, Gov. Barbara Roberts' legacy as a stateswoman is the shining example of leadership and empowerment. Long before taking office, she was advocating for special needs children's right to education, and to this day, she continues to spearhead efforts in the areas of women & public policy, human rights, and end-of-life compassion.

Keynote Speaker: Chabre Vickers

As Vice President, Public Affairs Employee Initiatives Leader for Wells Fargo & Company, Chabre Vickers demonstrates that engagement is key to creating positive change for the benefit of all. Called "one of Portland's super-connectors" by Portland Monthly magazine, Chabre's passion for the community has led her to many volunteer leadership roles, and earned her recognition as a 2021 Woman of Influence by the Portland Business Journal.

NEW Emerging Leaders Award Recipient: Neel Jain

Neel Jain is a senior at Westview High School and is the founder of PDX Concierge, a student-run free grocery delivery service focused on helping the elderly and immunocompromised. What began as Neel helping his grandmother in 2020 due to COVID-19 has now expanded to over 50 volunteers across the state of Oregon.

Special Guest: Major General Marti J. Bissell

MG Bissell's distinguished career with the US Army National Guard brought her to Fort Eustis, Virginia, where she serves as the Deputy Commanding General, Training and Doctrine Command. One of her four educational degrees includes a BS in Business Administration from Oregon State University, and we are pleased to welcome her back to Oregon for this event!

Special thanks to the US Army for their support of Rose Festival Honors.
