Rose Festival’s waterfront activities all take place at beautiful Governor Tom McCall Waterfront Park, in downtown Portland.

At Rose Festival CityFair, you'll find your favorite fair features - carnival rides, fair foods, interactive exhibits, and constant entertainment - all nestled between the urban energy of the city and the natural beauty of the Willamette River.

Check out the MESO Makers Market

MESO is making local businesses more accessible now than ever before. The MESO Makers Market at CityFair will feature local, hand-crafted goods for you to shop from. With a rotating list of vendors each weekend, the market will promote talented clientele and bring the community together in an engaging and positive way. After the Festival ends, continue to shop at the MESO Markers Market located at 376 NE Sumner St. Portland, OR.

A few rules and regulations for CityFair:

Allowed:
  • Necessary outside food and drinks are welcome
  • Backpacks are allowed inside of CityFair and subject to search
  • Service animals are permitted
Not Allowed:
  • NO GLASS or Alcoholic Beverages
  • Pets, other than service animals
  • Outside seating
  • No weapons including: guns, pocket knives, pepper spray and switch blades are not allowed inside of the fair.

CityFair Admission & Ticket Deals

  • GENERAL ADMISSION AT THE GATE: $15 BUY TICKETS
  • Kids age 6 & under are admitted FREE with adult (get kids free tickets at any CityFair gate)
  • FREE admission for Veterans & Service Members (with valid ID at any CityFair gate)
  • Capital One Café Day - Saturday, June 8, 2024 - FREE admission for Capital One cardholders + 1 guest (show Capital One card at any CityFair Gate)
  • FREE FRIDAYS with Coupon found in Portland Tribune and Community Newspapers, courtesy of Pamplin Media Group (present coupon at any CityFair Gate)
  • $5 tickets for individuals with an Oregon Trail Card, utilizing Arts4All ticketing (available only at CityFair gates). You must show your Oregon Trail card at the gate to receive this discount.
CARNIVAL RIDE TICKETS
Tickets to ride Funtastic Shows carnival rides will be sold on-site only at CityFair, and are not available online in advance.
Carnival ticket prices are below. Rides take 12 to 13 tickets per ride.
1 ride ticket: $0.60
34 ride tickets: $20
68 ride tickets: $40
120 ride tickets: $60
250 ride tickets: $115
Ride wristbands are not being offered in 2024

Pets are not allowed at CityFair. Please leave pets at home.


PARKING SUGGESTIONS

Here are a few suggestions for parking nearby Rose Festival CityFair entrance gates. We also highly encourage arrival by TriMet!
-On-street parking operated by City of Portland - Southbound Naito Parkway and area streets such as SW Salmon, SW Taylor, SW Yamhill, SW Morrison, SW Harvey Milk, SW Oak, and SW Pine
-Smart Park - SW 1st & Jefferson, and SW 4th & Yamhill
-World Trade Center Parking Garage - 56 SW Taylor St
-ABM Parking Services - 121 SW 4th Ave, and US Bankcorp Tower Parking (111 SW 5th Ave)
121 SW 4th Ave parking structure has enhanced safety features, with rollup gates that open for vehicles only, and a ticket barcode reader to access the elevator lobby
