Portland, it’s time to kick off the Rose Festival season.
Join us at CityFair for an unforgettable evening along the waterfront filled with live music, local vendors, carnival rides, great food, refreshing drinks, and the excitement that only the Rose Festival can bring. This year’s theme, Imagine Magic, comes to life as the city gathers to celebrate the start of another incredible season together.
The celebration begins with an Opening Night ribbon cutting at 5:00 PM, officially welcoming the community to the start of the Rose Festival. From there, the energy builds throughout the evening with live music and entertainment leading up to the night’s grand finale.
As the sun sets, get ready for a spectacular fireworks display lighting up the skies over downtown Portland. Choreographed to its own soundtrack, the show is designed to be experienced both visually and musically — making CityFair the best place to see and hear the full performance.
For those watching from home, the Opening Night Fireworks will also be broadcast live on KUNP, bringing the excitement of the Rose Festival to viewers across the region.
