Barricade Monitor Volunteer Form

As a Barricade Monitor for the Portland Rose Festival parades you will:
  • Greet parade spectators entering the closure area
  • Assist parade participants through entry and exit areas
  • Report incidents or concerns to the on-site safety team
  • Actively manage street closure barricades
  • Help spectators with navigation and basic questions
  • Receive FREE entry into Rose Festival’s CityFair!
This role is available for the Fred Meyer Junior Parade on Saturday, May 30 and CareOregon Grand Floral Starlight Parade on June 6.

Volunteers who sign up for this position will be assigned to a specific street barricade and will help manage street closures along the parade route, assist attendees, and report any issues to event staff. The Barricade Monitor’s support ensures the parades run safely and smoothly for everyone. Barricade monitors are a vital part of our parade operations and we cannot host the parades without them!

Sign up with a family member or friend if you can!
