Rose Festival Returns with a Bang this Week

Oregon Symphony Joins Rose Festival for Special Concert at The Schnitz

Bang the drums and light up the sky, the Rose Festival is BACK and ready to launch the return of Portland’s Official Festival this week, beginning with a special free classical event: The Bank of America presents the Rose City Reunion Concert featuring the Oregon Symphony led by Associate Conductor Norman Huynh. The concert will debut a special Rose Festival themed song, "From One Rose" at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall. (1037 SW Broadway, Portland, Thursday, May 26 at 6:00 p.m.)
[attendees are required to wear proper face masks]

Friday, May 27, at 5:00 p.m., City Commissioner Dan Ryan and 2022 Rose Festival Queen Lili Rosebrook, will cut the ribbon to officially open Rose Festival CityFair at Tom McCall Waterfront Park, celebrating the return of special events to Portland's front yard. Following a few hours of good food and fun carnival rides, fans will be treated to a free concert by The Junebugs, and Portland's most popular cover band, Hit Machine. Following that, the biggest, baddest fireworks show presented by Xfinity and Flyhomes, will cap the night with two big barges launching a grand display from either side of the Hawthorne Bridge.
