Grand Floral Walk

Join us on parade morning for the Grand Floral Walk - a fun, party parade through the streets of downtown Portland. It's your time to shine amidst the floral festivities of Grand Floral Parade day! This is the perfect event for you and your co-workers, friends, neighbors, club pals and fitness friends to attend. There is no better way to get motivated than by walking in front of about 500,000 cheering people as you enjoy your workout. TV cameras will also be on during the morning's event, and groups of 10 or more enjoy special discounted rates.

Support The Home Builders Foundation

This year, the Home Builders Foundation will join Bank of the West as a non-profit partner of the Bank of the West Grand Floral Walk. The Home Builders Foundation builds shelters and transitional housing for community members experiencing homelessness, and offers college scholarships to those pursuing a career in the home building industry.

Route

The four-mile walk route is also the route of the 2013 Spirit Mountain Casino Grand Floral Parade, leaving from the Memorial Coliseum. The Prairie High School marching band will lead you past nearly half a million spectators who will cheer you on as you enjoy your own 'party parade.' You can opt to do a two-mile portion of the course and exit and return to the formation area in northwest Portland. Please bring your own water bottle and other equipment to take you through a two or four-mile walking event. There will be no water stations available on course.

Add flowers to your attire for the chance to win great prizes in our Flower Power Costume Contest! Real and artificial flowers are welcomed. Prizes will be awarded for Best Individual, Best Group, and Best Decorated Stroller.
