2008 RESULTS
It was all about kids, as the 72nd Fred Meyer Junior Parade (the oldest and largest all children's parade in the nation) rolled down Sandy Boulevard at 1:00 p.m. (between NE 51st and 36th Avenues) on Wednesday, June 4.
28 middle school bands, dancers, karate kickers and homemade floats delighted a large crowd of family and friends under a favorable sky with mild temperatures.
Scooby Doo presented by Comcast served in the honorary position of Grand Marshal, riding in the back of a Parker Johnstone's Wilsonville Honda convertible. Trail Blazer rookie Greg Oden, Portland Mayor Tom Potter and the Rose Festival's own Character Clown Corps also joined in the fun!
