Commemoration Ceremony presented by Jeep
This special Memorial Day ceremony begins at 2:15 p.m. on the Main Stage in the RoZone (located in Tom McCall Waterfront Park next to Salmon Springs Fountain). Thanks to a generous donation from the Poznanski Foundation all Veterans and Active Military will receive a special commemorative pin. [While available.]

This year's ceremony will include a special original piece of music. Kelly Duval of Portland wrote a poem in 2007 in honor of her new husband Roy who served in the Army during Vietnam. This beautiful poem stands for all the servicemen and women who have left their homes and families to defend the country that they love. In 2011, Jeremy Walker of Canby put Kelly's words into music and created the song, "Thank you Soldier." The Conchords Chorale are proud to present this moving song as a part of the Memorial Day Commemoration Ceremony presented by Jeep.
