Funtastic Traveling Shows

The Pacific Northwest’s biggest, best and family-friendliest carnival, Funtastic features a full array of family fun, including gentle Kiddie Land rides, tried and true family favorites and over-the-top twisters for older, more adventurous thrill seekers. It’s Funtastic — Just Possibly the World’s Best Carnival!

PLEASE NOTE: Riders must be 2 years of age or older and meet height requirements to ride.

The Big Sling

This human catapult is big, fast, and thrilling as it slings riders skyward nearly 25 stories high at over 3 Gs of gravitational force. As the highest flying ride in the Pacific Northwest, the Big Sling is perfect for big thrill seekers.

Food Fair

Stop by the food court for lunch or dinner and try some of the unique options available, including apple pie fries and Cajun sausages. You can still get all of your festival favorites, such as BBQ, pizza, hamburgers, giant corn dogs, elephant ears and hot dogs!

Rose City Stage and the car2go Stage

The Rose City Stage, features a selection of diverse cultural performances, some of Portland’s favorite indie bands, cover bands and more.  Looking for something for the family? Visit the car2go Stage for a variety of programming, fun for all ages.

A Walk on the Wild Side

Stop by to experience this popular live animal exhibit, which brings a diverse mix of exotic mammals, birds, reptiles and spiders. Tigers and lions, snakes and spiders – these unusual creatures will delight all animal lovers. This exhibit’s presence helps fund an animal rescue program and 40-acre country sanctuary.

Portland Brewing Co. Pub

The Portland Rose Festival is pleased to announce Portland Brewing Company as the Official Craft Beer of the Rose Festival. Stop by the Portland Brewing Co. Pub at the Rose Festival CityFair for a tasty selection of brews, including an exclusive Rose Festival white pale ale with hint of lemon, dubbed “Velvet Majesty” after this year’s Official Rose. Portland Brewing Company is one of the oldest craft breweries in the city, founded in 1986, and is the creator of well-known beers such as their flag-ship MacTarnahan’s Amber Ale, Blackwatch Cream Porter and Rosehip Gold Belgian-Style Ale.

Eastside Distilling Lounge

The Portland Rose Festival has partnered with Eastside Distilling to present the Official Spirit of the Rose Festival. The Eastside Lounge at the Rose Festival CityFair will feature several Eastside Distilling spirits, including their Oregon Marionberry Whiskey in a Rose Festival signature cocktail “The Riveter”, named after the Rose Festival’s new Living History character, Rosie the Riveter. The Eastside Lounge will also feature the distilleries’ Portland Potato Vodka, Below Deck Spiced Rum and more! Eastside Distilling has been locally producing unique, small-batch spirits in Southeast Portland’s distillery row since 2008.

Idaho Potato Truck

The Big Idaho Potato Truck is on its fifth cross-country journey! It began in 2012 as a one-year campaign to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the Idaho Potato Commission and became quickly apparent with its success that it would be more than a one-year occurrence, it literally became a big piece of pop-culture. It travels the country promoting the certified heart-healthy Idaho Potato and its mission to help small charities in towns and cities with its A Big Helping program. Not to mention that people just want to have their picture taken with a 6-Ton Idaho potato!
