Porch Paraders Can Win Prizes

Many Inspired to Return for Rose Festival Porch Parade, May 31 - June 13

Your decorated porch could become your ticket to ride to a fantastic vacation spot, or a trip to see your faraway friends or relatives! Three creative households participating in the 2021 Rose Festival Porch Parade will win a pair of Alaska Airlines tickets, by decorating their homes in the style of Rose Festival’s popular parades. Other prizes include the official 2021 Rose Festival rose bush (Burst of Hope) and family ticket packages for carnival rides during next year’s CityFair, kicking off on May 27, 2022.

Enter your home and decorate your porch, facade or entryway for a chance to win airline tickets and other prizes in America’s Original Porch Parade. June 5 is the LAST DAY to register your porch and have it decorated. Register at rosefestival.org/porchparade and use the hashtag #PickmyPorch on your Instagram posts. (Registrants without Instagram accounts can email their porch photos to info@rosefestival.org.) Prize winners will be announced Saturday, June 12 at 10:00 a.m. on Instagram: @PDXRoseFestival

NEW this year, the Festival has invited businesses to join the Porch Parade and many are already decorating. As a special welcome gift, the Rose Festival will send 50 City Fair passes to each business entry in the 2021 Porch Parade, to be used in 2022.

If you want to be part of the fun, but don’t have time to decorate, use the handy map to find decorated porches and rose gardens in your area and go for your own Rose Festival ramble.

The Portland Rose Festival Foundation is grateful for the vital financial support provided by our five Premier Sponsors: Spirit Mountain Casino, Alaska Airlines, Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Oregon, Fred Meyer, and Portland General Electric.
