Rose Festival CityFair (formerly Waterfront Village), part of Portland's Official Festival, is open for three full weekends starting on Memorial Day weekend. CityFair features exciting new attractions, a brand new entertainment venue with national acts and performances, and special promotions for people of all ages. Activities include carnival rides, special attractions, musical entertainment, and the Pacific Northwest Barbecue Championship!

RoZone

Our new entertainment venue, accessible through the main gate at Yamhill ST on SW Naito Parkway. Featuring national and local acts, come see a show or the Pacific Northwest Barbecue Championship (June 3 - 5) at the RoZone inside CityFair! (Go to the RoZone PAGE.)

Funtastic Traveling Shows

The Pacific Northwest's biggest, best and family-friendliest carnival, Funtastic features a full array of family fun, including gentle Kiddie Land rides, tried and true family favorites, and over-the-top twisters for older, more adventurous thrill seekers. It's Funtastic -- Just Possibly the World's Best Carnival!

PLEASE NOTE: Riders must be 2 years of age or older and meet height requirements to ride.



NEW RIDE

Standing 100 feet tall, Vertigo was specially purchased by Funtastic Traveling Shows for a premiere west coast appearance at the 2011 Rose Festival! Come down and give it a 'spin.'

Thursdays and Fridays from 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. (June 2 & 3 and June 9 & 10). Your favorite frosty brews are available every day at CityFair. During Happy Hour save some green and kick off your weekend right with special deals on fantastic food and savings on beverages south of the Morrison Bridge.

The Big Sling

This human catapult is big, fast, and thrilling as it slings riders skyward nearly 25 stories high at over 3 Gs of gravitational force. As the highest flying ride in the Pacific Northwest, the Big Sling is perfect for big thrill seekers.

KOIN News presents A Walk on the Wild Side

This popular live animal exhibit brings a diverse mix of exotic mammals, birds, reptiles and spiders. Tigers and lions, snakes and spiders - these unusual creatures will delight all animal lovers. This exhibit's presence helps fund an animal rescue program and 40-acre country sanctuary.

Culinary Courtyard

In addition to all of your festival favorite foods, this year's food court offers barbecue, Indian, Chinese, Hawaiian, Vietnamese, charcoal broiled hamburgers, pizza, Mediterranean cuisine, and more.

Dex Grand Wheel Stage

Community groups, ethnic performers, and local talent get down on this stage located just south of the Morrison Bridge next to the Grand Wheel. Located in the heart of the Culinary Courtyard, grab a frosty brew and some delicious treats while enjoying the show.

American Red Cross Blood Drive

Help save a life by donating blood at the Rose Festival CityFair! The American Red Cross is having a blood drive on Saturday, May 28 (from 12:00 noon - 5:00 p.m.). Donors can schedule an appointment HERE. Appointments can also be made over the phone by calling the American Red Cross at: 503.528.5603.

Volunteer Performers

The Portland Rose Festival Foundation invites cultural and ethnic performing groups to participate on our dex Grand Wheel Stage at the 2012 Rose Festival CityFair. This stage highlights Portland's diverse ethnic heritages and important cultural traditions. Volunteer performance opportunities include singing, dancing or performing other types of unique routines. These opportunities are available for both children's and adult groups. To be considered, applications must be submitted no later than Thursday, March 1, 2012.
