RoZone -- Portland's Outdoor Entertainment Venue!

Portland's premiere outdoor entertainment venue, the RoZone, showcases national and local acts! In the RoZone you can experience the RoZone Fireworks Experience, Portland's Soul & Funk Favorites, Portland's Best Indie Bands and the Battle of the Cover Bands, all free with CityFair admission!

The RoZone Concert Series is back for 2012, appearing on the OneMain Financial Stage! You can experience three unique shows, with performances by Alabama Shakes, Chris Cagle, Andy Grammer -- plus many more! Access for ticketed concerts is available through the main gate at Yamhill Street on SW Naito Parkway. (Go to the RoZone PAGE.)

Dex Grand Wheel Stage

Located in the center of the Food Fair, just south of the Morison Bridge, this stage showcases our community's diverse heritages and cultural traditions. You can see performances from hip-hop groups, Irish dancers, Jazz big band, a variety of children's performances, cloggers, belly-dancers, Polynesian dancers, Tahitian dancers, and many, many more!

Opening Celebration and RoZone Fireworks Experience presented by Pacific Power
Friday, May 25
Featuring a special free concert by Hit Machine followed by a spectacular fireworks display, this world class fireworks show will be choreographed to your favorite classic rock songs! You'll want to stick around after the show for an encore by Hit Machine.

Red Cross Blood Drive
Saturday, May 26
Come down to CityFair from 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 26 to participate in the Portland Rose Festival Foundation blood drive. The American Red Cross will have their mobile unit parked in front of our Main Gate at Yamhill street on Naito Parkway.

Danner Memorial Day March
Monday, May 28
Starting at 1:30 p.m. the Danner Memorial Day March parades down Naito Parkway from the Burnside Bridge to Salmon Springs Fountain, with marching bands, patriotic vehicles and marching units. Stake out your spot on Naito Parkway to watch the Rose Festival's newest and most patriotic parade!

Commemoration Ceremony presented by Jeep
Monday, May 28
Recognized by the White House as an official National Moment of Remembrance, this special Memorial Day ceremony begins at 2:15 p.m. on the Main Stage in the RoZone. At 3:00 p.m. a moment of silence will be followed by a jet flyover and 21-cannon salute. (Go to the Memorial Day PAGE.)

Mayor's Mobile Food Cart Court

This food cart pod-assembled by Willamette Week, Rose Festival, and the Mayor's office, will be sure to knock your socks off, with Portland's finest delicious food carts!

Battle of the Cover Bands on the OneMain Financial Stage
June 2
Starting at 1:00 p.m. you can rock out to some of the best cover bands in the Portland area! Including your favorite Tom Petty, Rolling Stones, Van Halen and Led Zepplin songs.

Portland's Best Indie Bands
On Friday night, beginning at 6:00 p.m. you can see the second part of Portland's Best Indie Bands, with The Minus 5 and Floater. You'll want to come back on Sunday to see the Grand Finale starting at 3:30 p.m., with The Robinsons and The Thermals! You're sure to get a taste of Portland's music scene!

Grand Floral Float Showcase
June 9 - June 10
Snap photos of your favorite floats up-close in this formal viewing session of the magnificent all-floral floats from the Spirit Mountain Casino Grand Floral Parade. Floats arrive at approximately 3:00 p.m. on Saturday and depart at approximately 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.
