Jim Neill Memorial Museum at CityFair

Each year at CityFair, the Rose Festival Foundation displays treasures from the archives to the public.

The Jim Neill Memorial Museum was named in honor of Jim Neill, who was a long time Director of the Rose Festival Foundation and avid collector of Rose Festival memorabilia. We are delighted to be displaying pieces donated by Jim Neill’s family and the law firm where he worked, Davis Wright Tremaine, presently on display at the Rose Festival offices on Naito Parkway.

Kids Zone Reading Corner

The reading corner is a brilliant place to take a quiet break with a book, meet librarian Miss Beverly Bookmark, and stick around for read-aloud story time at 2:00 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 3:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. every Saturday, Sunday and Memorial Day.

Professor E. Clipse will be making appearances with fun demonstrations to teach everyone about the Solar Eclipse this August, and how to keep your eyes safe. You may be among the lucky few to take home your own pair of eclipse viewing glasses!

Or, get entertained and inspired by the Dragon Theater Puppets & Princesses presenting puppet shows, magic shows and story times featuring famous movie characters. Showtimes are 1:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Saturdays, 1:00 p.m. Sundays (bilingual Spanish presentation Sunday, June 11).
