Rose Festival 2017 RoZone Concert Schedule

The 2017 RoZone Concerts presented on the Bob Lanphere’s Beaverton Honda Stage are now on sale. Leading off the RoZone schedule: Vortex II presented by 101.9 KINK on Saturday, May 27, and Sunday, May 28. 105.9 The Brew presents Seether, rocks weekend number two on Friday, June 2, followed by the return of Northwest favorite Sir Mix-A-Lot on Saturday, June 3, and the ever-popular 98.7 The Bull CountryFest on Sunday, June 4. Wrapping up the RoZone series, 93.1 El Ray presents Dia de la Familia on Sunday, June 11.

All RoZone concert tickets include admission into Rose Festival CityFair on the day of show. Tickets are available online at this website and through Ticketmaster (1.800.745.3000).

ROZONE SCHEDULE

KINK Vortex II Show

The Vortex I music festival was a “biodegradable festival of life” when it took over Milo McIver State Park in 1970. 101.9 KINK fm is proud to present Vortex II, a celebration of live music, for two days — May 27 & 28 — in the Rose Festival RoZone at Waterfront Park.

Saturday, May 27

Sub Rosa Curation presents What Was Sound offering the casual music lover a very accessible and timeless celebration of Portland’s unique culture Featuring artists such as DIIV, Woods, El Ten Eleven, Fruit Bats, Small Leaks Sink Ships, Bed., JuJuBa and Sunbathe.

Time: 2:00 p.m. (gates open at 1:00 p.m.)
Tickets are $28 in advance, $32 day of show and Club RoZone is $75.

Sunday, May 28

Portland legend Patrick Lamb’s Tribute to Earth Wind and Fire, Tyler Conti and The Hit Factory, American Idol’s Haley Johnsen, Brian Harrison and the Last Draw, and Meekoh Martinez.

Time: 6:30 p.m. (gates open 5:00 p.m.)
Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 with a KINK Live 18 album download (quantities limited, $5 goes to Shiners Hospital for Children), $13 day of show. Club RoZone VIP is $50.

105.9 The Brew presents Seether – Friday, June 2

Rose Festival RoZone will rock as 105.9 The Brew brings Seether to the waterfront. On their sixth full-length album “Isolate and Medicate,” multi-platinum alternative rock trio Seether – Shaun Morgan (vocals, guitar), Dale Stewart (bass, backing vocals), and John Humphrey (drums) – strip their trademark melodic thrash to its core and deliver the most poignant, passionate, and powerful record of their illustrious career. Starset and Through Fire will open the show.

Sir Mix-A-Lot – Saturday, June 3

“Baby I’m Back!” Party-starter Sir Mix-A-Lot returns for a special concert. After a booty-shaking debut in Waterfront Park for the 2015 Rose Festival Starlight After-Party, and an exciting return performance in 2016, Sir Mix-A-Lot is BACK again in 2017!

Tickets: $10 advance, $13 day of show and Club RoZone is $50.

98.7 The Bull CountryFest – Sunday, June 4

98.7 The Bull is teaming up with the Portland Rose Festival to celebrate CountryFest. Featuring hit recording artist Joe Nichols, “American Idol” winner Trent Harmon, Pacific Northwest native Bailey Bryan and the vocal trio of Runaway Jane.

93.1 El Ray presents Dia de la Familia – Sunday, June 11

Featuring performances by Proyecto X, Los de la Noria and Nano Machado.
