Float Decorators

Volunteer decorators work during the final week before the parade. All construction is done by this time, and decorators apply the organic materials that cover every visible surface of the float. Requirements: Suitable for anyone 14 years and older. (Volunteers under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.) Go HERE to sign up.

Help decorate the 13 mini-floats in this year's parade, using glue, scissors, paint and other materials. Florist skills are nice but not necessary; training will be provided. Must be available parts of Thursday and Friday, June 7 and 8.

Volunteers will support the Portland Police Bureau along the route to ensure the safety of spectators and parade participants alike. You will be assigned either a stationary location or a designated area, with a direct police contact and plenty of support from Rose Festival and PPB staff.

Be a volunteer decorator for the Cambia Classic Float, signing up for a 6 hour shift (or more) between June 1 and June 6. You'll be helping to decorate the 'Champions Bouquet' float at the west side Float Barn, with plenty of free parking.
Hours are 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
